FWIW, the components that were on it are making stonking money on the bay, so I was already seeing it at 600+, and I know an offer of 6 was put forward, so I guess if 7 was offered the guy took it.

I just hope it don't get broke.

thought this might happen when I enquired about size he mentioned offers - i suspect it went for 600+ great condition unusual colour but without segmented forks and its no 753

I suspect this thread has helped the price - it's hard not to get a bit excited by all the chat. I will have one in my fleet one day, just not this time around. Nice to see some quality British Steel fetching a (assumed) decent price rather than the usual Yawn Eddys (ducks for cover!) and the like
