It looks like the one in the scan
Good research Carl.

Not sure where the 19.5" measurement comes from then?

The pulley wheels must have come in in 91 then unless they were on the Z-753 that year!

I certainly remember the cable rollers on the day, it was burned into my mind im sure.

but there are other small differences too I have noticed, the headtube rings run higher up the tube, the top tube cable placement due to lack of rollers, the seat cluster area and top of seatstay tubes are also marginally different, and the handlebar width is wider also, both in the picture and on the one for sale.

All very interesting.

What are we up to with Zinns now? About a million? Seems like they are popping up everywhere, common as muck, etc etc.

I don't think it will go for a silly price, its not a 753 and it does't have the 753 forks.

£350 - £450?

Its in v good condition though, I reckon £550+

Have you finished yours yet Roly?

Re:

So we know it's not the exact some bike because of the rollers.

Seems strange to me that this one doesn't have them unless it was specified by original customer? I've not seen one without them before.

A little thing, but I've also noticed that the 'handbuilt in the U.K' decal is on the seat tube, it's usually in the down tube...

Going back to your scan Carl. I would love to know what the other two models are. Not seen a green one...

I think they are colour variations of the same spec bike looking at the components. It has got me wondering if this is an early model. Not as drastic as 89/90 but a few months could have made all the difference.

My best guess is there were two models for the 90 model year, one using 531 ATB tubeset and one using 753 ATB tubing. with different colours available.

Re:

The other colours must have not been that popular as the 92 price list only has red, blue, white and black for the MTB's.

You only really see the red and blues as well.
