Just found a couple of photos of me when i was prob about 16 and my Alpinestars CroMega DX was pretty much new !

I didnt think i had any photos from back then and was quite excited to find these so thought id start a thread for some cool back in the day photos

My 1990 raw nerve in 1991 after my first race. It was in an old gravel pit near Maldon in Essex and organised by stoddys bike shop (I believe stoddys is now a member on here?)

Where was the one with your wheels off the ground taken?

think the race was one of the old no sweat ones near south molton and the one in the air was off one of the big jumps at the iron pits, went for a ride past there some time ago but couldnt quite remember where it was dunno if those tracks are all overgrown or something now ? but couldnt remember or find exactly where to go.

Ah, the Iron Pits. My mum used to hate me riding there as the dust stained all my clothes and trainers red! Good times I think I'll have a look on google earth and see if I can find it.
