Perishing sidewalls, any known fix?

As the title sounds I have been searching retrobike for anyone who might have repaired (or botched) perishing sidewalls. I have two sets of these umma gumma tyres, with dried stringy sidewalls. Was considering what compound would have been overlayed on these, is there anything I can buy off the shelf to preserve them in their current state. Not intending to ride them, just tart them up.

Current ideas, and if no one has any suggesting I will start experimenting with liquid rubber, silicone and whatever tubs of random chemicals I can find in my garage from left over diy and car projects. Any pearls of wisdom appreciated image.jpg

I have used silicon spray on the whole tyre before to try to combat perishing before.

it hasnt affected the grip of the tyre or like sliding about on banana skins.

it also makes the tyre smell abit better aswell 😂

People used to putt this acquasure stuff on cyclocross tubular tires to make sidewalls moisture resistant. However that becomes a bit of a visible layer. I have no experience using it. But it might be worth investigating.
