And Tom Boonen is the toughest of them all, the man is a machine.

If he doesn't win this it will be an utter tragedy.

30MPH pushing the big gears on 200 year old cobbles on country roads. Amazing.

300 mph is probably a bit off a exaggeration :D , but it was a epic ride and he has probably ridden the best spring classic seasson ever

I think you need new glasses or a bigger monitor!

ooops ,sorry about the poor reading off you post  better get my eye,s checked :D

Too much Kwak and it won't particularly matter how good your eyesight normally is, IME

What an amazing break! I really never thought he'd hold them off never mind increase the gap. I'm a big Boonen fan and glad he's got back to his winning ways.

Best start to a season ever? Certainly gave me a nice score with my dreamteam :)

I was REALLY hoping that Dutch bloke, Lars, would take second place. If only so we could see the headline: "Boonen, Boom! in Paris Roubaix."

will be interesting to see how he gose in the ardennes classic,s.it is hard to see anyone beating him at the amstel gold.but surely liege bastonge liege will be to hilly for him.and you always get a lot off other rider come from spain ,france and italy who are not knackered from the cobbles

I agree he should have the Amstel gold in the bag, a strong team obviously going for the classics. I never thought he'd pull of the Cancellara type break but he did, maybe has a few more tricks up his sleeve, he reckons hes racing smart so may have a tactic in the bag, but who knows about LBL, Ballan deserves something and may it suit him better.

Lbl has always been the hardest classic and very long.i think gilbert may have a thing or two to say about the outcome

Ex World Cyclo-Cross champ!

I was hoping it'd be Hushovd, or Hincapie, as I think he deserves it after all these years

Nice win yesterday in Fleche Wallone. So any tips for LBL? I reckon I have a strong 4 in my dreamteam with Vanendert/Sanchez/Valverde/Rodriguez, F Schlek could be a contender too seemed a bit peeved about the way Fleche turned out and looks like Andy might ride for him.
