Pair of wheels for V-brakes + 8 speed XT cassette

Ebay seems to be full of disc brake rims which I'm not even sure you can use "old school" V-brakes on.... Anyone got a pair of decent wheels i can use with my Proflex 957 please, including an 8 speed cassette (XT preferred)

I will be travelling this weekend to Llandow South Wales, to Derby, Nottingham, Burton on Trent, and then back to Devon again.

I may have a set of XT (m737rear, m738 front) hubs on mavic 217 (silver) rims up for grabs. I was going to split them and rebuild them using XTR hubs, but they are 36 hole, and my XTR hubs are 32h, so it seems a waste to do it now (especially as it would have been easier to swap everything over if they were both 32h).

If you are interested, I can try and get you some pics tomorrow, as it is a bit dark to venture into the shed right now.

Got some minty black LX hubs with DB spokes on Mavic 220 silver rims.

Send a PM if interested. There is mininmal wear on the rims and the cones are excellent. No cassette though :(

Ahem, whats the difference in the above sets and what kind of moolah would be needed to buy? :)
Difference in hubs is pretty much nothing as shimano (to my knowledge) used the same hib through the 737/8/9 range (or as near as). Rim wise, I'd say that the 217's are possibly lighter and silver, and the Dxxx rims are likely to be brown/black in finish and a little heavier perhaps, but I'm guessing as I believe the Dxxx rims are more modern and I've never had any.

As for moolah, I'd be looking for about £60 posted to your door, and I could throw in some skewers for that too.

Got a nice set of Mavic f519 rims rear hope mono and front pace carbon sus hub. They need a clean but they are mint.
Looking for £110 posted Will include some tyres and tubes.
Let me know if interested and i'll post some pics.
