Pace RC200 F2

After selling my last F2 25(!) years ago to fund a gearbox for a Mk2 Golf Gti ( I know, I know - Ive regretted it ever since) I finally managed to get my hands on a nice condition F2 for reasonable money.
I’ve never posted a build thread on here before but wondered what peoples thoughts were on what I plan on doing…..
Pictures below are as I bought it, safe to say there’s a few bits that need changing!

I’d always planned to go with XTR M900 canti’s, there’s just something so classic about them. However, having never owned a set of Magura’s and always loved the distinctive fluro yellow - I think they may well stay on for now.
XT thumbies are a certainty to go on.

If you ever change your mind about the magura’s I’d be interested in them for the same reasons as you.

During the peak of the anodising craze, for some reason I always went for blue and ever since have wanted to do a purple build. Not too excessive, I’m thinking, bar (Sub 130) a few bolts here and there and I’d really like purple hubs…..
However the wheels that came with it are really quite nice - deep profile rims on blue Hope’s with the front spokes laced in a snowflake pattern (again, something I’ve never had)
Not sure what to do about the wheels, I’m keeping my eye out for something nice with 3dv hubs instead……..

Plans for other bits include an early 90’s Flite, black seatpost and stem - probably either Syncros or Control Tech, a nice condition Xtr M900 rear mech and some XT M737 Spd’s (I do have a set but they’re definitely looking their age)

Not sure what to do with the crank, I had the Middleburn RS2 on my old F2 so I think it’ll stay but swap the red spider for either black or silver.

Think that’s about it for now, any thoughts, opinions or criticism welcomed!
