Pace rc200 f1 chainline

Hi I put a few bits on my f1 and am thinking I could do with a slightly shorter bb maybe .
Any input thoughts appreciated thankyou .
Middleburn chainset as per pics .
I'll update bb width in a mo .
Bb is a un 71@ 127 mm wide


I've sourced most parts to build it now which is good , just need to pick the colour theme and have some parts anodized and start polishing a few bits up .

Frame will stay original as is for now

The blue spider looks good. Would you go with blue accents? Headset, seat binder etc.

As dark as the frame is stealth would look great too.

I might have to put my blue bars next to it and take a pic , my initial thought was probably a different route but would different

Black and silver. Or black with touches of white

I like the idea of black and silver .
Maybe mainly black , keep the xtr canti as is and polished chainset with black spider
Rc35s for a touch more silver
I've a set of xlite cam QR's for it in black silver .

I’ve just put a 126mm BB back into an F1 which was the original size

Once you’ve identified the parts you are going to anodise and know the colour scheme you are going to go for I can highly recommend Acorn plating

It was to the Richard Thackray restoration and based upon that I’ll be fitting a Royce 126mm to my Black F1 once I’ve sourced one

I’m just in the process of getting the components sourced for the build of my Black F1 and will be starting a thread for that soon
