Retrobike Rider
Yes, yes, I know its a bit sad, but.....

I have been looking at the changes Pace made to their RC200 frames over the years. This is what I have got so far....

F1 Supplied with royce BB, Rocker for canti brakes, Replacable dropouts, Monostay

F2 Welded on Canti stop added, More advanced external butting

F3 Round seat tube, Gear Cables routed under downtube, Chainstay bridge removed,

F4 Round seat clamp,

F5 Rear brake cable routed on left side of top tube,

F6 1 1/8” Headset, Removable canti stop, Mudguard mounts on seatstays removed sometime during production run.

F7 Disc mounts added

F8 Optional Disc/ Canti mounts, External machining on headtube, Cast headtube badge.

If you know of any more, i'll update the list

My F3 has a 1 1/8" head tube. I think the F2 was only available anodized colours, F3 was available in raw aluminum. Hope this helps.

Are you sure? Thats wild.

So they went back to a 1" headtube on the F4? Doesnt seem to make sense surely?

(Unless of course they were using up all the stocks of 1" headtube tubing)

Hi Bryan555,

Has it ever been back to pace for a re-weld, as pace (to the best of my knowledge) did'nt start with the 1 1/8" headset before the F6?

I am probably wrong tho.......

Which side is the rear brake cable routed?

Not sure about the F4, jez, but the F3 was available in different colours

Which model was Jo Burts green one? F3?
