Pace full susser

Sooo, the 'what was your dream bike' thread got me thinking about this - how many people's dream bike never really existed?! As I said in that thread, I wanted the 'soon to be released' Pace XC full susser from about 92/93, it was even advertised in mag ads with prices and 'coming soon', but although they briefly did a DH frame they never released the XC... Until this summer - completely different bike, not uk made, looks ok but nothing special, and is a 'bigger' bike than I need in terms of weight and travel. Does anyone know anything about the history of development of the Pace XC susser - are there any proto frames from the 90s as that really would be a dream bike!

On Your Bike in London have an RC500 f/s frame / forks.

Look under 'shop watch'. One of the first posts I think...!

That's definitely bigger than I need or want! Used to see lots at the races around north yorks, rich thackeray? and brother? doing xc on sat then dh on sun...

Was there 8 years; never saw a proto XC full sus, looked everywhere!!
