Ahhh I seeI will find a pic. It used roll pins to secure the steerer tube. They broke.
Is there a better replacement? As I’m looking on eBay and seeing that some of them still have the “death” fork?
When Yamaha bought them out all forks were replaced with a full chrome Tange forkAhhh I see
Which after some years of use would often stretch the BB shell so they were no longer an interference fit. The only solution was to tap the BB to Italian 36x1 thread and fit a conventional BB. It was not a job I relished.Pressed in ball races in the bottom bkt
