Newbie question re Amp b2

Hi guys
new to the site so sorry if the question is a bit dumb!
I have the hots to get an Amp research b2 in silver.
Is this realistic or are they very rare and very expensive??

I found a Mongoose Amplifier dressed as an AMP B2 on this site. Is that an option also ? I think that's a more easy find than a real AMP (without the Mongoose 'stamp' in the drop out)... Every once and a while they pop up on the Bay I saw and maybe sometimes they do here...

Sorry.. mine is not for sale...

I wasn't that much into AMP's, so maybe you can tell me what the differences are if there are any ? I know the Mongoose was build by AMP.

if you're patient. the come up from time to time. mostly as Mongoose Amplifiers, which are the same as the Amp Research B2. Took me a while with a bit of effort to source one for myself.

I must add that a B3 is more common and stronger in its design and build.

Would you consider a B3 or is it particularly a B2 you're after? The only real difference visually is the double down tube.

B3's are much more common and still a great bike to own and restore.

Thanks for the tip on the b3-been looking at a few threads on these-I think the twin downtube wins it for me.
Looks like it could be a long wait for one as not seen a b2,b3 ,b4 for sale anywhere yet!
