Do you know if there are any differences with the reissues other than the heat molded date underneath?

Not a loaded question - one of my flite seats has gone banana shaped and needs replacing. Those reissues look spot on as far as I can see. If it's just the date underneath then I'm game

Really? How could selle italia manage the warranty / product liability on that ?

The originals have a bit underneath the seat that looks like a moulded in circle. The year of manufacture is in the centre, and the month of manufacture is around the edge. It's hot stamped into the plastic with something like this:

Do the reissues say '90' on this stamp, or just on the box?

Strange that been into mtb for over 20 years and never properly tried a Flite.
I know they have a big following.
As above, if they look the same then that's all that matters.
