about 5' 10" 32" leg. Erm yeah should really be thinking about that.... the links I have posted are just theoretical at the mo. Having said that I do tend to prefer a smaller frame with long seat post.....
You won't often see a bargain like that Clockwork, and if you want to stick to rigid forks you won't find a much better bike. But having said it was a bargain, that's all about condition. If you're not too fussed about such superb condition, a Clockwork or a C16R should always cost less than £200 which is superb value for money. The only drawback is the 1" head tube, which is a little restrictive if you would like suspension at some point. As is the Orange geometry, which is designed for their own relatively short forks. No great problem with say a Pace RC35, but there aren't that many short-travel, 1" steerer forks around.dylan_bhafc":2ted5sy7 said:How often does stuff like that Orange come up for sale on here
You saw an *orange* P7 and you managed to get out of the shop without buying it? Wow, you got some mean willpower there Dylan!dylan_bhafc":xcbzvg7l said:Hey Anthony thanks for that, some really useful info there. Went to my local 2nd hand bike shop at lunhctime and they had an orange P7 looked to be 19" maybe slightly bigger frame. Gears etc looked really shabby though and the frame was some kind of brushed metal finish which had quite a bit of surface rust on - they wanted £200 for it!
You've got far better eyes than me - 91-93 then, presumably 93 judging from the shape. Seller thinks the paint is original, which is what misled me, but it seems that it can't be as 95 is the only year they had that colour. Still don't really understand, as they didn't import size 17 in 1993.one-eyed_jim":1njav4o4 said:Aren't those earlier dropouts?Anthony":1njav4o4 said:The Cinder Cone is a 1995

Being as I'm from Hove, I have a dark suspicion that the bhafc bit of your name could imply that you're somebody who wastes their Saturday afternoons not mountainbiking.
If so, which 2ndhand shop was that?
