New Holdsworth 2015 Heritage range

Re:

I think the team car in the photo is a Mk.2 Cortina, 1600 or 2000e.

At least, that's what it looks like to me.

Still, a 68 Escort is a relatively rare item these days.

Funnily enough I saw a bright orange Mk1 Escort last weekend, on the Isle of Mull of all places... but that a whole nother thing.

Good luck with the launch.

.........is there also a cunningly placed "Holdsworth orange" coloured BMW (the one with the circular rear lights) at the top right?

Thanks for the positive comments .

We are looking to do as good a job as possible , and pretty soon want to bring the Holdsworth manufacturing in house , to sheffield , steel bikes made in the steel city by yorkshiremen . We have backing from RGF and tech support from my old framebuilder Roberto Billato , we have premises and obviously brand name , and of course a decent route to market , so I am hopeful we can bring full manufacturing back to the UK and control the production from start to finish . That is our goal , might take us a year to get there but we will try .

In the meantime Lorenzo is taking care of Holdsworth production with the first frames being produced by one of the top artisan Italian workshops and quality is super high . They are producing a lot of high end steel production , I could list the names of the other brands if the moderators allow but I did this the other day and the post was pulled !

Anyway , trust me , Lorenzo knows his onions , he is doing a great job on this project .

Thanks for taking the time to post on here. I'm a Sheffield lad, and the idea of those beautiful frames being built in Sheffield is the stuff that dreams are made of for me.

Just one more thing - would you be able to explain to our lass why I need a Professional? And possibly a Mistral as well? :D

Thought I'd ask here rather than open a new one. The brake cable stops under the top tube are they offset, not underneath, so would work with oldie cables out of the top levers OK?

Oh and a proper head badge, or the option of one, would look so much better than a nasty decal. Not sure about the brass script on the top tube but all in all the frames look really nice.

Oh, oh, while I'm at it sort your web site out. Unless it's my browser the Pro Italia has no colour pics and 70mm bb height is quite likely wrong. And since when do you create all your text as a png, how will search engines index it?

Offset cable guides not a problem, they look and work better if the offset matches the side the callipers pull from...cable guides down the left side of the top tube work better with Campag for example.

Thanks Shaun, Would be with early 80's campag super record, my brother thinks move everything off of the Moser as the brazing has turned out to be a crack repair that looks dodgy. He thinks get something new, fed up of damaged 2nd hand.

Really tempted with a pro, think I prefer the 531's graphics, horizontal dropouts and price but prefer the Italian ones tubes and shiny bits. Not sure how differently they'd ride, 531 a bit softer?
