Retro Newbie
I want to build a modern take on a 90 to 93 Klein. Modern 29er HT frame with Klein paint finish and decals, all best current equipment Eagle AXS etc. I guess a project that showcases is Klein we’re still making bikes, what would it look like.
Any ideas on a frame/donor to base it? Happy to modify things like removing external cable guides, welds smoothed etc. Would like to stick to an alloy frame if possible, but they are few and far between. Did think the Vaast magnesium maybe an option.
Not sure I will ride the bike, but want one in my collection as a one off.
Is this a good idea or not?
