Narrow-wide chain rings

Were you able to find success with the STX cranks? I've never heard of anyone who was able to modify those because of the unusual mounting system for the middle ring

Yes, thats the polished one in my picture at the top.
But have mounted a cheap 4arm BCD104 NW from China (polished too) at the position for the outer chain ring.
If possible I'm running this 1xX setup also with a shorter BB for a proper chain line and low q-factor.
