Here's my Orange C-16R. I love this bike, though looking on here past few weeks I think maybe it could do with a bit of extra love and a polish.
I've had it around 7 years, the guy I got it off had it stored in his shed and it was it daughter's bike - she'd put road tyres on it after she grew out of mountain biking and replaced the grips but apart from that he reckoned everything else was original. I changed the tyres soon after getting it and swapped the original pedals for some crank brothers Candy (I've got a thing about the colour orange).
Chain snapped a few weeks ago so I had to replace it and the cassette. Apart from that it's as I got it.
IG 3x7 speed Chainset
Orange quil stem
STX headset
3ttt Pro Compe bars
SK8 seatpost
Shimano cantilever brakes - dunno what model
Alivio brake levers
Deore XT thumb shifters
Deore XT RD and FD
Can anyone tell me what the saddle is? And any idea of the actual year - I know the C-16Rs were only around for a few years but don't know how to tell which mine is?
