My first retro ride

Is it a stem like in the pics, or a Zoom stem (bungs were always going missing from those...)?

One of the internet bike shoppeees sells bungs for some stems - think it might be sjs.

Yeah, even the missus likes mine!

Just had a quick look at my stem cap. Not sure it's the original one, but it's doing the job. As it's black plastic, I guess it will just be a case of using your ingenuity to find something that will work.

Not much progress on the restoration so far, as I was at the mud bath that was the British Grand Prix last weekend. I have put a new seat and some knobblies on her though, and got in a few miles over the last couple of days .

I bought a couple of different caps but none of them fitted so decided the best way would be to buy a whole Marin stem off ebay for the bung. After biding my time I eventually got a whole stem for £4
