So to revive an old thread, this bike is now in my possession and fully torn down. It is going to be repainted to the other color from 1988 - White on White but I have been really thinking of adding a second color into the mix.
I'll post up some of the pics as I go.

Tear down begins.
I always tear down the bikes to bare metal and start fresh. It just seems to turn out well



Down to bear metal just to make sure there is no surprises...



I have picked colors - slight twist on the original Dark Aqua Blue - Belle Isl Blue. Forks are pure white. Paint is applied but has to cure before I can handle it. Paint is a proper automotive wet paint. High quality primer followed by acrylic enamel base/clear coat.
Photos when I can actually handle it.

If anyone has a file for the head tube logo for the early bikes, I am in need and I can get them made up. I will start to re-create by hand otherwise...
