Where does your train land?

Panic stations !!!

Just realised the rack I was going to fit to the Kona won't fit (Probably should have checked that beforehand ... but spent too long trying to find a set of V brakes to get the blasted thing working  ) . So an extra large camping rucksack it is. Sleeping bag, clothes etc all fit (and fairy lights to keep THM happy ;) ) so only the tent and camping mat to work out (probably tie that to the frame somehow). I'll figure it out, I like a challenge.

Food wise I'm guessing there's food stalls/catering vans etc up there so only have to bring snacky stuff? Alcohol...I'll figure that one out when I know what room I have left.

On a positive note brakes are pretty much sorted and trains are all booked. So it's literally just sorting out what else to bring now. Hopefully better organised than my last event a few weeks ago. Apparently preparation for a 100km road ride is Fixing the brakes at 5am on the morning of the race.

I could bring you a tent if you want and already have a roll mat and sleeping bag in the caravan. Just may save you some hassle.

Re:

Cheers guys. I've got everything here all ready to go. I'll be fine honestly...

and wookiee....I know . Probably shouldn't be drinking at all (long story  ) but I'm definitely going to have a few. I'm useless with social situations unless there's alcohol involved

The legend that is, Andy.

All working as best as can be expected. Lap 1 steed ready. Nice day for a walk. Half way up.

Re:

Been busy rebuilding the front Hope caliper on the Slingshot, took an age to re-set it all up again but now all good.

On another note discovered that the carbon bars had a big fracture on the underside  so just had to put some Bikehut ( yuk!) ones on.

Will give it a proper test ride on Monday evening.
Just the C16r to strip and clean now :)
