Mountain mayhem 2023 cancelled

Nothing new just yet. The latest comments to the post asking for rider feedback are from others asking when bookings for riders will be open, or at least for an update but no, nothing yet.

Thats what I feared - by now (pre Pandemic) we'd have at least two ten man teams up and running and working on a third

the "love and Bro mance" is strictly taken by THM and Hotwheels

I suspect they're bracing themselves for the inevitable (and unfair) backlash when they up their prices and charge for premium place parking...

Absolutely- and to be fair they have been up front and asked for opinions before considering changes and your right no matter what - prices will rise and some of the facilities that we’ve become accustomed to, will inevitably be dropped …… it’s an horrible tight rope to walk

Yep, but you know some clowns will still take the opportunity to moan, so I hope the organisers have got their best teflon suits ready (to be fair, running any sort of event you have to have teflon skin to keep sane!)

Question asked ( I exaggerated a wee tad ) and reply given, bit ominous really

cheers Nobby
to be fair in yrs gone by we got close to 50 riders - mixed between solo, 4 and ten man teams

lets hope Feb announcement is favorable and includes Friday night camping, without that I think we'll struggle to make big numbers
