Might have been the 29 inch front wheel coupled with the revolutionary (queue Unique) build that had something to do with it.

I just hope the video someone shot of me on the first downhill of the opening lap never comes to light
I got it so badly wrong people clapped when I got to the bottom ......and it wasn't for my finesse,
some how I managed to hit both of those tress on the way down and at one point the saddle hit me between the shoulder blades
 
I have a lovely bruise in the small of my back from my first traverse. Looking for knarly rad dropper posts now dude.

I got a lap on video, in three parts for some reason. With crash, puncture and jelly.

I kid you not. Just have to download it on youtube now. Tried last night, but it's very slow!
