I had some CLB brake calipers. Not the pro level ones, they were a bit more mediocre. The arm snapped midway down as I was descending down the garden path. Fortunately I was only doing about 5mph but dred to think what could have been.Quite possibly the worst (and the lightest) brakes I've ever used, Clb professionnel. Every nut and bolt is aluminium, which is nice, gets the weight down to 160gr the pair. However... Those brake blocks are tiny! About 40% less contact than regular on the rim, and in the rain as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
And did they squeal? They're french, of course they did!
