Mmm. Not sure.
I think rule of thumb is this (and I will be slated for this Im sure and NOONE take offence please as its just my opinion...)
Bright, vivid colour frame: single matching or contrasting colour OR silver or black components
Dull colour frame: matching or contrast or go "mad sh*t on it"!!!!
Ti always looks cool with a load of funky coloured stuff highlighting the dull grey tubes.
Mirror polished alloy always looks good with a bunch of colour. Or indeed a one colour component only treatment.
Steel or alloy frames that have a funky colourscheme have to have silver or black it seems (to me)
I think linear fade Kleins always look cool with black stuff on them.
Each to their own but I tend to stick to that.
