SL, fair but firm feedback there.
I've had a break from the garage....lad to swimming, tea, washing up etc.
I dont dig it anymore, got other plans now.

I've still got the odd pair, but worked out that the contrast may be too much.
either of the two bright colours, with my pewter pair, look tons better...imo.
suppose we after the same singleton now

+ it looks wild ...what is FAT typical

So I think it is a success

ditto that. FATs were always loaded up with lots of colours & for some reason it always worked

SL, just read thread, didn't answer your Q?
the gold leg is a judy xc leg on a sl fork.
the fork leg was crimped bad by a hope disc bracket, when in disc format.
i have both xc legs, but the snob in me, won't let me fit both, cos you won't know it's the Ti licked (partly) SL model
I've really got to get out more!

I think rule of thumb is this (and I will be slated for this Im sure and NOONE take offence please as its just my opinion...)

Bright, vivid colour frame: single matching or contrasting colour OR silver or black components

Dull colour frame: matching or contrast or go "mad sh*t on it"!!!!

Ti always looks cool with a load of funky coloured stuff highlighting the dull grey tubes.

Mirror polished alloy always looks good with a bunch of colour. Or indeed a one colour component only treatment.

Steel or alloy frames that have a funky colourscheme have to have silver or black it seems (to me)

I think linear fade Kleins always look cool with black stuff on them.

Each to their own but I tend to stick to that.

you only need to take a look through the old MBAs & FAT brochures to see that FAT was the exception to this. call it the greg herbold colour scheme! IE any random mix of colours & its still cool
