I had one and it was probably the best car I've ever owned. Ultra reliable, amazing to drive, better equiped than the UK MX5's, tons of parts on ebay etc and pop up head lights
The best ones are the RS Limited's, but the best value would be a V Special (which is what I had) as you get AC, leather seats (with speakers in the head rests ), and the Nardi wooden steering wheel/gear knob/hand brake handle.
Dont be put off by bad hoods either, as I can put you in contact with someone who'll fit you a nice new mohair hood for the price of a vinyl on on ebay
