a bit of red always makes a bike look tons faster standing still!

Know what you mean about finding forks with a long steerer and yeah it looks good with the P2's really simple lines

Good job Kyle

Cheers!
Dont get me wrong if i had the cash for some decent new forks I'd probably get some.
Those nos polished x fly forks look tasty in the for sale section!

The pedals have turned up today so i will get a picture when i can.

Re: Merlin malt build thread! New Decals!

Sweet! so i'm looking forward to the next pic with the pedals now that you've finally them ..

Re:

Well they're fitted and look good i think. The red is a deeper red but they still look good, the design looks better on the bike too it looks faster

They were noticeably lighter than the welgo ones that were on it i just hope they are as grippy cause the welgo ones were really good. I bought some red v8 copies not long ago for my trials bike i had and they didn't compare.

I'm going to try and get a cheeky quick ride over the bank holiday and I'll hopefully add some pics.

Re: Merlin malt build thread! New Decals!

Well with luck the weather will be on our side over this bank holiday and i've never had any mags so i can't confirm on how grippy they are unfortunately and i did suspect that the red mags would be slightly deeper then the rest of your red components but with the pedals not being right next to the other red parts they shouldn't look out of place ..

Re:

Well I've gone and replaced the frame and i didn't take a decent pic before i did

A 2004 GT avalanche 1.0 frame came up locally so i bought it cause it has a disc mount and i like GT's!
Rode up and down the road and it feels great. Big bike ride on sunday looking forward to it :)
