Mavic groupset

I have been collecting one up on eBay for a monocoque look frame but i have bought 130mm OLD 571/2 cassette hubs over the pictured model 550 threaded ones pictured . the hardest item to find is the seat post followed by the shifters IMO (I also have aero levers)

ps my hubs are shimano spline and I'm using an 8 speed cassette not mavics propriety spline pattern (although they came at the start of the 90s)

Actually good point, a friend of mine who raced the starfish cranks replaced the chainring bolts for steel ones, not the type of failure you want. Lovely groupset, the headsets are easily available but costly, front mechs can be bought as either band or braze on, there is a guy selling NOS spares to convert between the 2 types (see links below) , Ive got on braze on adaptor for when I swap my SSC kit from my Vitus 979 to the carbon 9.

I still use those pedals. Fully rebuildable, work beautifully. Provide acres of float for dodgy knees, yet engage firmly and hold nicely. There is both rotational and a small amount of side to side float. Fab pedals. Would like a 3rd set...
