Middleburn cranks / bb width q?

Will be removing an LX chainset and Octalink BB and fitting an old Middleburn Triple (square taper) which I think is RS7 - can't see any identifying stamp.

Just curious - BB is going in a 2001 Zaskar Race which iirc is 68mm (well in my mind, generally 68 but could be 73mm?) and last time I fitted a square taper BB was for a White Industries chainset at 113mm axel.

Does 113mm sound about right for the Middleburn too? I've seen a few confliciting suggestions that 116-118 is better for these, just wanted to ask the experts out there.

68 or 73mm BB for 2001 Zaskar Race?
and axel width for Middleburn triple (3x9)

Typically it's 113 for a square taper Middleburn RS7.
I sometimes got trouble with some front mechs - typically the Shimano low-band type - which can need a longer BB for the mech to reach the inner chainring reliably.

Cheers team. 68x113 seems to be right. Have ordered a UN55. I only have "standard" crank bolts though, not the Middleburn Self Extracting ones. I will order a set but I'll just have to run them with no covers on until my Middleburn ones rock up.

Spotted that the middle ring is a Pace - long time since I've seen one of those. Had the chainset in my parts bin since before they went belly up!
