Master Piu

I took this to the airbrush artist today but to no joy they said they wouldn't take on the job which was a bit of a disappointment, so if I can't find someone in the uk to do it I may try and tackle it myself as I do have an airbrush kit which I've never used. I have a practise on some metal and see how I fair and if it comes out like a dogs dinner I'll have to have it repainted anyway so nothing to lose really.

On a happier note I had some more parts turn up today. Feeling really chuffed with this purchase as you don't see many dura ace parts pantographed with the Colnago branding. :D

I think I will get the stem brakes cranks and seat post re-anodised so they all match.

Guess I'm in for a long haul on this one.

Re:

The panto looks fake to me. Recently put on vintage parts by unknowing amateurs who just happen to know there's a market for these things. Ernesto would never allow his name being engraved upside down. ;)

Re:

Loving this thread so far. Don't know how you're finding these panto'd parts. . . . .

Other than expensive!

According WimVDD there's a geezer I China with dremell and a few pots of Humbrol paint called Wee Fake Em and his dyslexic brother Diem Fooked up who probably knocked out the cranks pictured above.
