Marzocchi seals help please!

I just got these seals today - part no 850690 - 30mm seal kit for my Z3 1998 forks. However they have "M-Arch" on the label which I know is the post 2001 forks.

Would they still be ok for my forks?

The design is a bit different but they do work fine in older forks.
They key factor is that they are 30mm seals.

I've got exactly the same ones for my Z2's and was told they'd be ok.

I'll find out when i eventually get the lowers sprayed :roll:

The M Arch appeared in mid to late 99 for MY2000...

And they are fine for your fork and are the "improved" design in comparison to the earlier ones.

Thanks all....

I was wondering whether to get the forks sprayed the same colour as the frame when I get it done... I suppose if I'm removing the seals it would make sense. Or I might polish them up, I do love polished silver forks!

I changed my seals on my bombers the other week to these m arch ones and they are fine. The outer is slightly different but other than that they fit and work no problem. Beautiful forks IMO.
The seal tool really helps to fit the seals, in fact it took all of 30 seconds to install, about an hour to remove!!!!

Also they are a pain to remove, the outer ones you have to careful as the m arch ones do not cover as much of the fork as the bomber ones so any scratches caused whilst removing will stick out. Also the ones inside the fork, mine had perished and were more difficult, took an age to get them out, they really are a nightmare to remove; well they were for me.
