Biggest hypocrites around, veggies who eat fish.

There should be more options on the pole, which merely underlines the cliché that you either love it or hate it. Perhaps we could challenge that assertion?

I found the XO darker, more bitter and saltier. Morrisons do a yeast extract that tastes very similar to the XO.

They've done a few "specials" - ones based on champagne yeast and Guinness yeast spring to mind. Have they ever teamed up with their near-neighbours at Marston's to do one using Burton Union (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brewing_me ... rton_Union) yeast?

Best steer clear of certain disgraced glam rock stars in that case. ;)

If Marmite had missed the boat as far as a bit of Jubilee marketing goes, I'd be very surprised! Sort of Marmite-related, given where the raw ingredients come from - special Jubilee beers have started to appear in my local Co-Op and may have to be sampled soon.... :)

Love it, loads of butter on granary or brown toast

the XO I found to be more rounded, stronger but mellower for it.

prefer it over the normal stuff

whats not to like?...as mentioned in previous posts, it's a by-product of the fermentation process...beer on toast, yuummmm  and twiglets, even better, beer on sticks. I'll never forget Xmas 86, i got The Wall on vinyl from Mum and Dad and a party pack of twiglets. I was in my room alllllll day. Still got the record and it still has twiglet stains on the gatefold..happy days.
