Marin Team Ti - 1995 I think...

Devout Dirtbag
Hi all, I'm going to leave this here and upload a couple of pics when I get back from lunch...

The other half has bought me a Team Ti frame for my birthday so I will probably be badgering all of the Marin nuts for help/info over the coming weeks (probably years) as this is my first build.

Re:

Found a good guide to the serial numbers when I was looking for a frame.

F = Fairly Factory
0 = Not 100% (The lower the number the better the frame - 1 Team Issue, 2 Team Marin , 3 Pine Mountain etc)
5 = 1995

AA = Month and date (no idea how you work it out)
C = 17 inch

015 = Some sort of production number

Be interested to see it.... been told I should have a go at a high end Marin after my '94 Palisades Trail "adventure".

Here we go, a few images of the new frame...

Think I may have overdone it with the resizing - hope you can see them ok...

Aha, that is a great help thanks very much!

I have just been through your build thread and it's turned out really well. You've been much more sensible than me by going in at a 'lower level' (no offence meant) while you are picking up the skills, hope I don't regret it! To be honest, I have an 8 year old Kona Caldera in the shed for riding around so I am in no real hurry to get this built up. It's in amongst a number of little projects at the moment so I'm just going to take my time with it.

Also, you can see on the top tube (won't come out in pics) that there was once Mark Williams decals either side.

Name means nothing to me...

That’s some birthday present! Was it your partner’s own idea or did you have a hand in the choosing?

Yes, I'm very fortunate. It was my 40th birthday, we just got back from a week skiing and got engaged as well so its been quite a few days!

I had mentioned the frame a little while back and she bought it and hid it on top of her wardrobe until yesterday.
