Marin BMX WTF?

I picked up a 1996 Marin Hawk Hill earlier this year. It was too small for me but I cleaned it up, sourced a few original or period correct parts and put it on Ebay for someone else to enjoy. It sold for $122 (£63).

Seven weeks later it's back on Ebay as a Marin BMX cruiser, with a starting bid of $350 (£180).

I know it isn't a top of the range bike but ... what a mess! And for only $350!

Re:

That was quite a shabby manoeuvre – some people only know the price of everything, not the true value.

Plenty of effort has gone into the re-spec. He's even taken off the reflectors.

Takes a kit if effort to make a respectable bike look like something that the local weirdo would ride to the pub after losing his driver's licence.

Did it sell? I'd assume not at that price.

Grumps

Re:

Sorry to see that what was a perfect bike has now been fiddled with by the local "Pee Wee Herman". All it needs now is tassles or ribbons...
