Madison Ridgeback Late 80s questions.Please have a look

Hi Guys
I purchased this bike from a work coleague some years ago,maybe early 90s.
Low and behold i sold it further on down the years.
Managed to find it last night a stone throw away from our home

What i would like to know is what year,model,is it worth restoring etc
It's all original with Shimano Exage Country Groupset

All info would be greatfuly accepted

I can take more photos if required and also the frame number which is stamped on the underside bottom bracket

It's a ridgeback 601 but that's all I can tell you. I had a 691 lx briefly that was white with blue splatter paint, and a bit of pink in the decals. Very retro!

Bloody hell that brings back some memories.

These were show ponies in the old freewheel catalogues. If you could get the one for this year you'd have more info to go on.

Ridgeback now stripped cleaned and photos taken of frame decals.
Next step is down the powder coaters
Will finish in it's original yellow with decals from gil
All components ready for a vigorous clean,a few items required to complete the group set.BB/headset/seat post.Amber walled tyres.
