Is anyone from macretro going to the Lakes for the Round 1 of the retrobike series?
Pretty close for some, 4 hours for me - I don't fancy camping though in feb.
Does anyone want to car share (pending me getting a pass).
Was thinking going down friday night, perhaps kipping in car/hostel (even part way down) and coming back Saturday night at a relaxed pace with a few coffee stops.

Saturday 25th Feb - might be chilly, and snowy and windy, and rainy but in the lakes it can be like that in the summer too. I know a small bit of the route and there are some stunning views if the cloud is high enough.

I'll check with the missus tonight, might be "road weather" dependant though I don't fancy it if the snow is deep or the ice is as bad as today....
