looks good- touch up and t cut as it looks ok from where I'm sitting

project for 2011 ;)

hmm the other side has most of the damage, but again borderline. Groove tube is pretty cool though. I was thinking of moving the stuff from the muddy fox over but I'm no sure noo. I was meant to be downsizing as well

And for the record this is the 4th GT I've got and I wouldn't say I was particularly a fan. This next one I'm maybe getting is one I've liked for a while though.

I reckon Blair Adam forest for December Festive ride :D

http://www.mtb-routes-scotland.co.uk/blairadam_forest.htm

Looks good for old school rides and just exploring, big network of trails apparently but in a compact area.

Right beside M90 motorway Junction 3 by Kelty north of Dunfermline in Fife. Easy for most to get to and Dunfermline close, to retreat to for a bite to eat.

Alternatively if its not for you over Christmas period then we could do in Mid November. I believe the woods are one of the Kens auld stomping grounds.

Kaisers fat tyre project and Jimi's modern Klunker have revived my plans for a Brit inspired Klunker with my old Rudge roadster.

The big issue had been rear brakes as it was originally designed for drums between narrow rear track ends 110mm OLN. I could have done drums again but thanks to the web I have discovered a disc brake adaptor plate for track ends that allows a disc brake to be fitted to a frame without mounts, made by Quad. Also I have found rear disc hubs for screw on freewheels which will allow me to respace to 110 OLN and go SS. The frame will take knobbly hybrid tyres as wide as 45-700c. I might yet produce a 28er SS

Mind you as I'm no engineer it may take some time and lots of swearing

Anybody else got any mad projects in the pipeline for winter man cave fun ?

"Vandalising" a '92 Explosif by fitting disc caliper tabs and removing canti bosses  Bike with Steven Shand as we speak (well - type)

Was thinking about using those ergo's on it too with drop bars, swapping all the disc and 9spd stuff over from my Cape Wrath, but undecided on that yet. Will reconsider when I get frame back. :p

Never done Blairadam - despite it being less than a mile from my parents house

I have heard it is good fun from many people but definitely not the style of ride in the Glas Tulaichean link, more of an open playground.

December at Blairadam might be an issue as the forestry works get quite busy as it is a Christmas tree source.
