Team format is a cool idea, really up for trying it. And discussions over beers at yer birthday bash is a good idea. I think if we are up for ssuk then staying overnight at say afan then riding there before moving on to the event would make the distance easier to take?

Dumfires and Gallasland is too far for me - is there nothing other than Carron in the middle? Is there anything in the Trossachs? thinking close to Glasgow but not too far to put me off. It took me 2-1/2 hours to get to kelvin grove the other week .

Karakorum I picked up, quite a bit chipped here and there, paints nice so it seems a shame to blast it. Not sure what I'm going to do with it as I may have another GT coming
