never read this thread beofre as it is not very practical to ride in scotland from Kent , but you have your own forum in there .

Eye Chris, its great. If you can overcome the smell of burnt Haggis on Tuesdays and ignore the globules of porrage that cover the walls its not a bad place hang out. The locals are really friendly, put on some good rides and can peddle a bike pretty well. They usually have a decent single malt over on the sideboard too!

Si, the southern clansman.

get yourself to glentrool (great day ride), as they do an amazing haggis toastie- mmmm

welcome chris, new macretro member- remember scotland and france used to have the "auld alliance"

Morning MacRetro. I like number 1. Looks classy and well balanced.

Well we have another important landmark steed in the Ecurie this morning. I forgot that I had bid on it and was very surprised to score it in the early hours.

Its one of the first ever Stumpies built back in 82. It was a personal gift from Mike Sinyard to the owner or Santa Cruz Skateboards and is in great original condition. Surely got to be the oldest MTB in the UK when it lands. Just need that Breezer, a Cunningham and another AMP to complete my dream collection now!

that is sweet- got to love the suntour shifters your receeding into the dark ages of retro biking as we all head off into the 90's and beyond
