Leading on from last night's successful experiment to transform an old Suntour XCD crank into an M900 lookalike using only Nitromors, wet'n'dry, Anusol (!), and squinting optimistically through half-closed eyes in my dim man cave, tonight I thought I'd try something a bit more ambitious:

Hopefully I shall be transmogrifying a stuck aluminium seatpost into a dribble of goo. MUHAHAHAHA, etc.

spoke to the boys at walkers cycles today and they do cyclocross training at irvine beach front on Thursdays (they tryed to persuade me to do wed night rides but lights are required). I think i might go alone one night with some 1.8's on the vega for a laugh, they do a load of cyclo-cross races as well and they are apparently only 1 hour long which sounds a bit more fun

I did think distance as a race training thang but not to bothered really, what do you say ZZ top, fella.

so its only an hour cycling in a school playing field and you can use a proper erm... mountain bike- sounds great where do I sign up ha ha
