MacRetro chat and rides thread

Cool,Sat 3rd of Oct any good? Otherwise I'm snookered, would make a nice wee pre Keilder shakedown jaunt.

Are you basically promoting another Mugdock meet or is this a different route ?

Might be interested but depends on my ME, usually pretty tired on Saturdays

Velo

yeah was thinking of the mugdock run we did with ac but if folks want to go further afield maybe mr panda could be called upon to lead a run?

no probs, organise to suit yersels though if Velo prefers the Sunday. But if anyone else is fancyin a Saturday run.....

Kaiser, I'm cool with the saturday, it'd be good to see you, only ME can stop me.

I'm trying to get my 07 Dahon Matrix folding mtb operational so I can jump a train to wherever I fancy without worrying about there being no room for a bike on the train. This bike is by my standards ultra modern and is obligatory disc braked, no vee mounts  Mind you as its hinged its no jump bike, but then I'm no acrobat myself

Cheers velo

right I should be ok for this, so do we want to put it down in the rides section- was thinking of going all the way to balmaha pub/lunch and then back but ostensibly the same route we did last time velo? Will try and get a local guide (this time with cleats fitted right) and if the weather is good will be a crackin run?

Sounds good to me though this time I'm bringing gears, nearly killed me last time

Also I now know when to expect the rough rock descents that nearly got me last time

Yup put it in the rides section :D

Hmmm, I don't think I'll be able to make this one after all, sorry gents. Would have been good, some new trails and all.

Anyhoo, starting throwing some parts at the Stumpy today...

The grips do go with the amber walls, honest. The colour of the frame is fantastic, it looked brown when it was outside today. And it was a good brown! Can't imagine I'll get anything as close to it if I get it powdercoated.
