MacRetro chat and rides thread

Anyone up for Pentlands or Pollock park this weekend, long term forecast says high pressure front all week which means no rain :D
Mind you now I've said that we'll probably have biblical flooding
Determined to ride my bike as much as possible before the darkness of winter rolls in :(
Trying to get Trek built up in a manner I find acceptable to ride and thus have 4 fully operational mtb's. Hopefully have 6 fully operational bikes before the end of the year, worrying behaviour

Cheers all

Tnega, very smart, but I'd be worried about the cross dresser to your left in the black skirt

If its no tartan its not a kilt its a skirt !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tnega, apart fae that boy second on the right, ye 's dinnae look pished enough

Velo, can't do Saturday, but provisionally up for a Sunday ride-out. I've got a college re-union in Glesgae Saturday night though, so we'll see how I feel in the morn.

ZigZag, post up in the am on the Sunday if your up for a Pentlands or whatever ride out, I'll probably hit either Pentlands or the Tress on my own if neccesary.

Cheers

On a lighter note, DaveDH and me should be kept seperate at work as we end up bouncing way too many stupid ideas around. Dave thinks we should have a Dr. S style officially ratified dirty weekender in Scotland next year, the 'MacRetro Highland Games'.
Proposed events include Bicycle Caber tossing, Bicycle Shinty, tarmac based uphill TT and a combination of orienteering and bike building in that various neccesary components are hidden around the woods and first team to assemble and race a circuit on such a bike wins.
Prizes as usual being quintessentially scottish ie whiskey, tunnocks, irn bru etc
Proposed venue is Aviemore as it has loads of bars, food outlets, accommodation and great riding.
Please feel free to propose ideas or whatever as knowing us lot it most likely won't happen but it could be a right laugh
