Its a 75 mile two day epic across the North Yorkshire Moors.

Who's man enough?

Holly cow  , not me either, unless i start training this second

its not as bad as it sounds. Its just over 35 a day but remember that you have 1100ft descent spread over the two days. Both days end with 5-6 mile long steady downhills and there is only one big climb per day- and they are long and steady. The surface is pretty fast rolling providing its dry and semi-slicks were even used on a few occasions. We used to start early and be setting up camp by 3pm on the Saturday afternoon. Note that we camped too- full panniers and all the kit. Will be B&Bing this time around.
Give it a go- will be the ride of the year- I promise!

I've actually got a (right hand only ) 105 10spd shifter, so the cinellis would be a be a backward step, I just thought they looked cool   , I won't go for them if they are wrong for my style of bike.

My bike is a compact frame racer from what I have been told - popular in europe, I'm guessing it is a bit similar to the C2C frames most manufacturers make now.

I take it the 105 10 spd groupo is different from the old 9spd? You could do what Lance does and fit a downtube shifter instead of a STI unit.

The other thing about those bars is they weigh a ton  not too many people run tri bars only on there bike, most tri pro's anyway train on regular drops and introduce the tri bike near the start of their season.
