Lovin' the bull moose bars!

My 2p on the singlespeed debate. I blow hot and cold on the SS thing. I love the simplicity and freedom it gives but sometimes feel that a mountain bike is supposed to be versatile and loses out when devoid of gears.

I have enjoyed SSing the Cotic around this last few weeks however and I'm now looking for a suitable retro frame to build up as SS. I looked at my current fleet and there was nothing suitable so it lookalike another purchase is due.

Looks good Eck just tidy up the drivechain( most important bit as chain slip is very painful )

So is this another fat dr? Spill the beans.

A few irons in the fire including a Fat, but its not a Fat that I am planning on SSing.

That look's fine Big E  , before you buy a tensioner try setting up the chain without, sometimes you can get lucky with the chainstay length and can run a plain chain with no tensioner (look's better), file a flat on the rear axle for a slight tweek, i run my E3 with a normal Shimano chain, 32-16, a new chain on it is very slightly tight but after a few rides when it's bedded in it's perfect.

Big Eck, I like the Giant SS especially the bars

Dr.S cool Mountain Goat, never one for mainstream bikes are you ;)

Now I got to get my Raleigh finally tweaked for Sunday, not looking forward to the hills.
