MacRetro chat and rides thread

Cyclo cross? is that that thing were you have to leap off your bike at speed and then back on without breaking stride that and the fact you are on a racer in very muddy school playing fields?

Sounds great

Got some good info on my local trail today, apart from a spectacular tumble I didn't manage much riding was repairing the trail with the landowner and boys from walkers cycles, rick from drum has Been round it and will be helping get it spot on once they have the necessary insurance they atre hoping to make it in the same mold as drum albeit on a smaller scale. My back aches from lifting all that rubble and I was only there for about an hour and a half  mind you that corner will be special to me from now on. Any riding plans for tomorrow lads (not on racer!).

so what saddle folks- both are pretty uncomfortable but which looks better? thanks for the heads up kaiser ;) might just click tonight.

Jimbos right the black looks good, lets the frame speak for itself

Am liking broon, although what you really want is the saddle from Kaiser's Muddy Fox. That was really bloody nice (and I never thought I'd say that about a brown saddle).

Put the original bars on the Spesh today with an old EA50 stem, bloody hell I'd forgotten how narrow they are - you really get used to those wide bars. May go for a trundle tomorrow, see how things work out. Also stripped and cleaned my sticky Mini caliper, still bloody sticking tho :(

nothing worse than tinkering for ages and the problem still exists, with me it is usually worse

the other saddle is actually orange, but is a bit faded 1:1 all aquare so far.

go for a run zigzag, I will try and get up early and get an hour in.

was going this morning- loaded the orange up on car and took the wife up to work only to discover I had two right shoes in the back

so came home and hit the woods here, will be local the morra too as wife is working again (someone has too! ).

errrr dunno. May log in first thing to see what your doing. Will probably stay local too give the FAT an easy off road run.
