MacRetro chat and rides thread

Yes, get those brakes sorted, when I crash and I will crash, I do not want you running over my head

Once a date is set in July for kielder I will hopefully be there 8)

Bonjour MacRetro, ca va?

Feck me, what a weekend. Proper hardcore- and feeling it now I can tell you. 1,250 mile round trip (i drove it solo) 7 hours sleep since 5am on thursday, far two much to drink, a full 200 carton of fags, one written off golf cart, a very large mystery bruise and more tales of high jinks than you can shake a stick at.
Le Mans is THE best event of the year, but it's hard on the body, I feel seriously fucked up but it's so worth it!!

Going to bed for two days now.

Sounds like an awesome weekend, watched an hour or two on saturday- and was very tempted to pop over to Knockhill for the British GT's on sunday.
Ended up going for a ride in Perthshire- that lasted about 15mins before mate's son had a major strop ending the ride, spent the rest of the day building trialsy stuff in his garden for his new 20" Onza trials thingy.

glad to have you back Dr S, sounds like you had a whole heap of fun, hope you get it all sorted for next year and remember and make sure you wear waterproof maskara for that first lap.

Next year is not looking good at the moment- our own project has hit the barriers and we need another car but time is running out. Didn't manage to sort out a seat in anything else at the weekend either. Looking towards 2012 now, should give us plenty of time to sort something out.

Feeling pretty rough today and still need more sleep but I'm back at work now. Had an hour on the bike this morning and my wrist is still sore as hell (must admit to falling over on it on more than one occasion). I think it's time to call on the reserve list for MM and go as a spectator instead.

Sounds nice and healthy DrS  , I also saw a teeny bit, looked like someone had driven down the wrong road. Didnae realise some of it was on public highway.

Dave how have you recovered after SSUK?

thats a bit of a bummer about MM Dr, def try and get a lap in just to say you've done it- would like to think I will make MM10 next year- enjoy.
