It was an opportunity for my friend to have a bike in a different colour. Not sure it it will be everyone’s cup of tea but it looks amazing.
Decided to go with new 700c rims laced onto nice set of hubs.

I have an old Colgate roadster. Use to own a Dutch made Signal tourer . It had some lovely red lines .

The wheels are based on a set of Bayliss Wiley hubs, 3speed freewheel one side, single fixed on ther.

Starting to take shape, laid back geometry as befits her age.

A few more components fitted;
GB levers to compliment the callipers and a Cyclo Benelux rear derailleur.

Not much more to do now, bar tape and a bit of fettling.

Finished except for toe clips, turned out nice again!
