MacFatro - Fatbike news and builds thread

I discovered the joys of the right tool for the job. Got a bench drill and discovered how easy it is to drill pinpoint accurate straight holes in metal tube. At last my bodging will become a wee bit less slap dash. Butchered and rebuilt an old set of suspension forks (cheapo rubbish before anyone gets upset) as a set of fat tyre rigid forks with everything secure via a few neatly drilled holes and bolts. Chuffed.
Next job, rebuild rear of 'Gruffalo' frame to fit fat rear tyre. Before any of you start thinking this will all end in catastrophic failure, remember, I do tend to overbuild so it'll be strong if heavy

I'll come up your part of the world some time, I have a hankering for seeing Strathpeffer and surrounding area.
