Yes it is definitely a Carrera, Halfords supplied in the early 1990's.

Low end components and the fact that it looks pretty ugly in comparison to the saracen built e-stay quattros make me think it is a low end Carrera from the same era designed to look like the big brother.

Yep, can't remember the model name but basically hi-ten, 100GS equipped stuff. Maybe a bit harsh to give WDP status (now I know what it means also ) but nothing special...
